Lilac is a cozy color and has always reminded me of sleep. Pins and Needles, gives me the fuzzy, sharp feeling that sometimes wakes me.

The lilac color continues in this piece with loops that are reminiscent of the comforter pulled all the way up to your chin.

Pillow Top is an ode to the super soft mattress that I like to spend 8+ hours of my life in a day on top of.

I recently returned from a trip to the desert. It was a Dream-Like experience. There were always unexpected creatures lurking under rocks and on the trail. I have included some snakes around the exhibit because they always seem to pop up at the most

This piece was inspired by a much larger chain that I made a couple of years ago. Chains often appear in my work to symbolize a connection and the tether that often comes along with connection.

I wanted to create spaces that I would like to walk through. This couch and these pieces struck me with a distant memory, so distant that I still have not been able to place their familiar configuration, maybe it was a dream.

Serpents appear again in this room of the exhibition. I will often refer to a dream book when I wake from a particularly odd dream. I flip through the pages in search of the symbols that stand out in the dream. My favorite interpretation of a snake

I took a more traditional approach to a gallery space in this room. I wanted the work to be the focal point, even the furniture reflects the work.

Finally, we enter my dream studio. This place is very similar to my studio at Blockfort. If you have ever seen my tiny workspace you will notice the messy similarities. Boxes of fabric, power tools, and a sewing machine all strewn about.
