This series in the first room are a view of the life water in our veins at first impact. Just like how you walk into a house your first impression can always be surprising.

Dot and Dorrie in their non-zoom meeting.
Just like life, not everything is in order or makes it to that final thought but it still has a presence like these little discarded works.

The green room as I like to think of it is a part of the healing, it's funny because green is also considered one of those very calming colors and represents growth and nature.

I was thinking of random mundane and everlasting injury friends and I share of pencil lead stuck under the skin and you pick at it sometimes and re-bruise yourself and this is how I feel about it. It always seems common between me and artist friends
I like to think of this as my private personal collection. My favorite amalgamation of colors when I see a bruise. I feel like there is this beautiful golden time of healing.

Final phase of healing is where it just looks muddy and gross but the pain isn't really there anymoe and you can relax some and not move around so gingerly.
This room has interjections of what I do for myself as a hobby and no longer feel like it is job in knitwear. the exploration of colors and shapes.

In my real life I have crystals stashed around the house as well and random knitwear carelessly tossed about. Do I believe in magic? Not really but my son is like a magpie for shiny rocks and he is six, that is all.
